There's Something I Noticed About You; I'd Love To Tell You... But I Can't! November 20, 2006 |
| Hi Why can't I tell you? Because you and I have something in common. Something that keeps us from learning the things we need to learn most. What is this "THING" that keeps us from learning useful truths? It's called the EGO. Our EGO is a defense mechanism that protects our identity. The EGO is "an inflated feeling of pride in your superiority to others". The relinquishing of EGO is required to let new information in. So, until you let go of your EGO, you will NOT be able to receive the information I have to share with you. This explains the phenomena, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." The student is ready when they are ready to drop all the defense mechanisms, and let in new learnings. The surrendering of the EGO is letting go of the notion that "I know it all" already. Of course you don't know it all. None of us do. Only when we have the HUMILITY to drop our "Know-it-all" mentality, that's when the miracles and breakthroughs happen. So... How do we get people to drop the EGO, and gain humility? One way is to invoke curiosity. When we are genuinely curious, we are in a state of mind that is receptive to learning. Are you curious enough to LEARN new PRINCIPLES to grow your business? I have a marketing coaching program that increases business 100% of the time. But you cannot, and will not learn, until and unless you are HUMBLE enough to DROP YOUR EGO, and open your mind to new learnings. The Success Stories keep FLOODING in! "The best I could ever muster for the month of July was $19,000… until I enrolled in your Coaching program. Using the promotional principles and strategies you taught me, I did a private sale and in two days and two hours, I generated $22,000.00 worth of sales. By the time July was over, I came up just $23 short of having a $60,000.00 month! That’s better than three Julys… and it didn’t cost me an extra dime in marketing or margins.” Frank Coppin, President Coppin’s Hallmark
